This is a happening place on Dundas street and seems to be popular with Asian tourists.  I noticed a larger group in here on my recent visit.

As always on my trips to foreign cities, I scope out the bubble tea scene.  Since I'd tried Chatime and CoCo Fresh in London, I decided I need to try some different places.

So, after a visit to the art gallery, and a rainy walk down Dundas Street, I figured I deserved a Bubble tea treat.

I ordered a large size mango green tea with tapioca pearls.  I asked for no sugar and standard ice.  It was still a little on the sweet side, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

I will say that this place didn't stand out to me as anything unique or trendy.  It's quick decent bubble tea.  And if you pay with cash they offer a 10% discount.  At least they offered that to me!

Also, it is worth mentioning that this place does a ton of business for take out food orders.  There was a constant stream of doordash (or the like) delivery people coming in to get orders.  And the waiting area is a little tight.

Overall, a pleasant experience, and if I lived in Toronto, I could see myself visiting this location more than once!

If this review was just for their mango sago, this would be a 5 star review. The mango was so fragrant and had a great texture. The condensed milk wasn't too sweet, and the tapioca pearls were fun to eat. Best dessert here. My siblings really enjoyed their milk tea drinks as well. They're strong and had enough creaminess from the milk. We tried the mango shaved ice, which was pretty good. But, it wasn't as fragrant as their mango sago. The most disappointing dessert was their tofu pudding. It's typically supposed be flavored with a ginger and rock sugar syrup mixture. But, this wasn't the case. So, the flavor fell flat. Although, I do have to give props to the silky tofu texture.

We did enjoy hanging out here for a dessert night cap after dinner. We will definitely order their mango sago and milk teas again.

This place is just a couple minutes from St. Patrick TTC Station, and it's near many other places to eat and get BBT.

I tried a variety of things here. Their rice are quite nice. I'd get the unagi rice again. The deep fried tofu and chicken are also great eats here. And they've got a bunch of bento box sets and noodles as well.

Overall, this is a nice place to chill with small snacks if you are in the area.

This is for the shaved ice. First they do the super fine snow ice. Not my favorite but they were able to accommodate and make it with no flavor (I find the flavors too sweet). Toppings were generous and the taro/sweet potato balls were nice and chewy. Didn't love that they didn't have whole chunks of taro but they do have whole chunks of sweet potato. Will probably just stick to Black Ball on Yonge and college for my Taiwanese shaved ice cravings (which are quite often).

My coworkers were raving about the "big portions" at Zen Q and how they couldn't finish the lunch special for $10.

I came with my team at 1PM for lunch. Thankfully they had one last booth open that seated the 5 of us.
They gave us a piece of paper to mark down ALL the orders & they didn't have separate columns for each individual order. Instead we used a lettering system - placing specific letters on dish that corresponds with one particular order.

The service here is very fast. The food is served on a plastic tray that is sectioned out for each different dish.  The portions are huge except for the protein which is only decent. You can get a drink that's listed on the sheet for an extra $2.

I got: salty chicken with green beans, eggplant, tomatoes & egg. Out of everything I liked the eggplant the most. I feel like the green beans were old and the tomatoes & egg wasn't cooked thoroughly. I tried some of my co-workers broccoli and it was delicious. The chicken was okay - I feel like it was mostly breading though.

Service is non-existent after they drop off your food.

They also increased the price to $10.99 instead of $9.99.

Overall, it was a decent meal but not something I'd crave or go back for weekly.
